The March edition of Mug Club is in YOUR HANDS. Each Mug Member has the opportunity to submit a BBCO Beer Blending Recipe. The winning recipe (based on staff votes) will be revealed at Mug Monday on March 30th. Think of a Black & Tan but with a BBCO twist!

Details:

• Choose TWO or THREE beers from the list below to blend together.

• Email your recipe to our team (let us know what ratio of each you envision) no later than March 20, 2026.

• Show up on Monday March 30th between 1pm and 8pm to see which blended recipe was the staff favourite, and to test it out yourself with your other Mug Clubber pals!

• Limited to 1 submission per mug member.

• Prize for the winning recipe submission

  *NOTE: Please don’t ask our staff to test these recipes for you at the Taproom. If you wish to test your recipe, there will be cans of each beer available for purchase so that you can test it out at home. We are offering 10% off can purchases if you mention you are recipe testing.

Join BORN and Annex Ale Project as we celebrate International Women’s Day with a Cask Battle!

Both BORN and Annex will be tapping TWO casks at 1pm on Saturday March 7th. Each of the four casks will be paired with a local charity supporting women in YYC and YOU get to decide which charity wins 100% of the proceeds from cask sales on that day!

All you have to do is purchase a cask pour, vote for your favourite cask beer and submit your voting card at either Annex or BORN prior to 10pm that night.

Casks will be tapped at 1 pm at both locations, with the main event concluding at 6 pm. Casks will continue to be poured until they run dry.

Customers can pick up a Cask Passport at either Annex or Born on March 7th. You’ll receive a sign-off for each cask pour purchased at each location and can then drop your completed card in a ballot box at either location!

We’ll draw a winner for an Annex & Born Prize pack from all the completed cards, and the cask with the most votes will receive 100% of funds raised through cask beer sales that day!

No tickets required, all are welcome. Cask pours will be available in 4oz to 12oz sizes. Must be 18+ to participate. Winner will be contacted by BORN Brewing Co. directly and must be able to pick up the prize pack from the BBCO taproom.

The February edition of Mug Monday is a Mug Mingle with $5 Mugs all Day for Mug Members ONLY!

It pays to be part of the club…

Come learn about locally malted barley, experimental hops, and how they are used to make amazing craft beer! Questions and curiosities welcome!

Join our brewer, Vince, as he guides guests through some of the key ingredients in beer production and all your burning questions about malt and hops. Guests will also receive free beer samples as part of this sensory experience.

Free to attend, limited to 12 guests. First come first served.

Our pal Passing Time with Craig is back for another Taproom Takeover at BORN Brewing! This time as he hosts Daddy’s Olympic Games!

Team up with a friend, partner, coworker or family member to compete in a night of mini-games including puzzles, trivia, and some fun physical challenges thrown in there (think “Minute to Win It” games).

• Teams of 2 - $10/team - register via the link below! Feel free to wear matching outfits + come up with a fun team name!

• Each team will be competing in at least 8 games, with 5 teams competing in up to 12 games!

  • points from Round 1 & Round 2 will be tallied

  • Round 3, whichever 5 teams have the most points going into the finals will complete in elimination-style games until we have 1 winner
