Each month we host a special event for our Mug Club members. The October edition of Mug Monday is a Candy & Beer Pairing Flight in celebration of Halloween. This special feature was curated by PTW Craig and will include four classic candies paired with four BORN beers. Flights are $9.50 for Mug Members (yep that’s a pretty good deal) and are $15 for your guests or members of the public. Join us for a guided tour of Union Cemetery. Union Cemetery, located between Spiller Road and MacLeod Trail S.E., first opened in 1890 to replace the cemetery at Shaganappi Point. Union Cemetery includes many of Calgary's founders and pioneers and features a Military Field of Honour.

October 12th, 2024. Open to all ages, no dogs are permitted.

Schedule:
5:30-6:00PM - arrive at BORN, check in, receive your drink ticket.
6:15PM - depart for Union Cemetery
6:30-7:30PM - Tour of Union Cemetery
7:45PM - arrive back to BORN Brewing Co.
9:00PM - Taproom Closes

Our group will be walking to and from the cemetery, as well as walking around the cemetery for the tour. We recommend comfortable walking shoes, and dressing in layers and appropriately for the weather. Unfortunately dogs are not permitted within the cemetery, so please leave your four-legged pals at home. Kiddos are welcome to join in and can enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage with their ticket.

Join us as we launch our first ever All AB Malt Beer in collaboration with Red Shed Malting. Our production team will walk you through the recipe, the folks from Red Shed Malt will share the story of their craft malthouse, farming history, and you’ll learn all about the specialty malts used in the beer…PLUS you’ll be the first folks to taste Western Boundary and All AB Malt Brown Ale…AND you will have a chance to take home a four pack before anyone else!

Doors open at 6pm. GPS Pizza will be on site serving up made to order pizza, there will be supplies for crafting your very own friendship bracelets if you are feeling crafty, and BINGO will kick off at 7pm sharp with various Queer Icon inspired performances by AnneXiety throughout the evening.
