IWD Cask Battle
Join BORN and Annex Ale Project as we celebrate International Women’s Day with a Cask Battle!
Both BORN and Annex will be tapping TWO casks at 1pm on Saturday March 7th. Each of the four casks will be paired with a local charity supporting women in YYC and YOU get to decide which charity wins 100% of the proceeds from cask sales on that day!
All you have to do is purchase a cask pour, vote for your favourite cask beer and submit your voting card at either Annex or BORN prior to 10pm that night.
Casks will be tapped at 1 pm at both locations, with the main event concluding at 6 pm. Casks will continue to be poured until they run dry.
Customers can pick up a Cask Passport at either Annex or Born on March 7th. You’ll receive a sign-off for each cask pour purchased at each location and can then drop your completed card in a ballot box at either location!
We’ll draw a winner for an Annex & Born Prize pack from all the completed cards, and the cask with the most votes will receive 100% of funds raised through cask beer sales that day!
No tickets required, all are welcome. Cask pours will be available in 4oz to 12oz sizes. Must be 18+ to participate. Winner will be contacted by BORN Brewing Co. directly and must be able to pick up the prize pack from the BBCO taproom.

Our second BINGO of 2026 supports the Children’s Grief Center at Hospice Calgary. Join us for an evening of laughs and beers as we raise a glass and funds to a wonderful local organization. Proceeds from the evening will be donated directly to our partner charity.

The March edition of Mug Club is in YOUR HANDS. Each Mug Member has the opportunity to submit a BBCO Beer Blending Recipe. The winning recipe (based on staff votes) will be revealed at Mug Monday on March 30th. Think of a Black & Tan but with a BBCO twist!

We’re opening the BBCO cellar on December 2nd✨ to celebrate the darkest nights of the year and the release of the next in our series of Rocky Mountain inspired beers.
🏔️New Beer Release: Crestone Peak Maple Porter 🍁 aged in Romero Distilling rum casks for 11 months. Sweet, sticky and warming.
🏔️Cellar Menu: with five cellar-aged beers to revisit, you won’t want to miss out on this limited menu. Each of these dark and sultry brews is award winning, and we’ve been waiting for the perfect time to share them with you.

Turkey Bowl at BORN
On November 27th from 10am-5pm we’re celebrating American Thanksgiving and you’re invited to join in on the fun! We’ll be streaming both daytime NFL Games. There will be prizes just for showing up, mini games between quarters hosted by “Passing Time with Craig”, as well as drink specials and an NFL themed taproom snack menu.

SABIS is currently serving 260 clients in Calgary and surrounding communities. Our clients face numerous physical and cognitive challenges because of their injuries and often find themselves struggling with financial hardships and other issues stemming from the significant life changes that accompany brain injuries.”
