Just in time for Easter- Mug Club Monday this month is an Easter Egg Hunt! Mug Clubbers can come in any time on Monday March 25th from 2-9pm to search for an egg! Eggs will contain different prizes, such as chocolates, free pint cards or the grand prize of a 4pk of your choice!

Any eggs not found on Monday the 25th, will be left around the taproom for any of our customers to find for the remainder of the week!

“Up-and-coming skier Addy Jacobsend knew that it was time to move forward from the “one woman is enough” mindset. She dreamt of the supportive words she wished she’d heard, penning advice to her younger self. The desire to share those words with as many women as possible grew from a journal entry into the Advice for Girls film. 

Jacobsend hopes that the film’s advice from three generations of women in skiing will remind women and girls of all ages that they are worthy of success, allowed to take up space, and are extremely valuable to the ski industry.”

“Heart Mountain Rescue is a 100% volunteer run dog rescue fueled by a great community.

Our mission is to find furever homes for dogs in need, to prevent overpopulation with spay/neuter clinics & to promote the welfare of dogs through education and advocacy. 

Our vision is a world where every community has access to vet care and every dog has a home.

We are a foster-based rescue. We do not have a shelter facility, but rather, we depend on our incredible team of fosters who give our dogs a temporary home until they can find a furever home.”

He has toured all over Western Canada and was featured in Calgary's inaugural Craft Island Comedy Festival. “Our mission: Through volunteer power we provide tangible necessities, systems navigation, and advocacy to help and end the cycle of homelessness!

This movement is all about inspiring people to be the change in Calgary. Our group is all about loving acts of kindness to help people experiencing homelessness and better our communities.

Our homeless street outreach team goes out to help those experiencing homelessness in Calgary. We walk the streets/back-alleys of Calgary, on foot, every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 5:00 – 9:00 pm. We hand out essentials including food, water, clothing, hygiene, harm reduction supplies, resource guides, and referrals to help individuals experiencing homelessness access resources to end the cycle of homelessness. We all know hope can start with a meal. Sometimes people just need a hand up and some extra support in that advocacy.“

Magic of Christmas is a 100% volunteer, non-denominational charity based in Calgary. They load up Calgary Transit buses on Christmas Eve with hundreds of gifts and volunteers dressed as Santa and his elves. They deliver Christmas spirit into the homes and hearts of those who need it most!

It is unpredictable and presents in different forms. Many people can live normal lives for many years, others develop more progressive forms of the disease resulting in various degrees of paralysis. We often refer to MS as Canada’s disease because:

• Over 100,000 Canadians live with MS

• Canada has the highest rate of MS in the world and we don’t know why

Join us for a night of spooktacular magic with magician Ben Price! Ben returns for his THIRD Born Halloween show, where he will amaze you with a night full of magic!!

This year, you’ll be invited into the brewery for an up-close magic show. When you’re not watching that, you’re invited to carve a pumpkin (pumpkins included with ticket). And in between magic sets, Trivia Daddy will be hosting fun mini-games.

Since it’s a Halloween show, costumes are encouraged with a prize for best costume!

Born is thrilled to be a part of the first ever Halloween Pup Crawl! We’re joining up with our @YYCPupCrawl friends for a howling good time from 12pm - 4pm.!

We will be part of a dozen other local taprooms that will have local vendors set-up selling their awesome items. You can stop in for a pint and shop, get beers to go and shop, or just come and have a pint while watching cute dogs in Halloween costumes.

PALs (Pet Access League Society) and Cheddar Dogs will both be on-site that day. Our friends, Phatty Crusts, will be serving up food. Plus, Born’s mini pumpkin patch will be set-up for a photo opp for your furry friends!

Pacekids Society for Children with Diverse Needs where we empower over 600 Calgarian children and their families with leading-edge therapeutic, educational, and play-based resources and opportunities.

We accept cash or card for donations. 100% of the proceeds from this Bingo will be donated to Pacekids.

We love movies, so we figured why not have a movie night for everyone! That’s right, we are going to be airing two movies the last week of September.

100% of the proceeds from this Bingo night will be donated to Camp fYrefly. Pink Door Pizza will be on site serving up some delicious slice of ‘za!
