The Calgary Firefighters Burn Treatment Society is a registered non-profit charity organization supported by 1000+ professional Calgary Firefighters. We dedicate and volunteer our off-duty firefighting hours towards raising funds and awareness for the Calgary Firefighter’s Burn Treatment Centre at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta. This fundraising ensures that money is available for upgrades, as necessary, to the highly specialized equipment. It also provides the burn unit health care team with opportunities to attend continuing education programs to remain current in new treatment techniques.

We were exploring Plémont Beach, a secluded cove on the northern shore of Jersey. The contrast of the blue, clear water, light sand and dark rocks covered in lush green made it the most beautiful beach we had ever seen. We were there as the day was heading into low-tide, which is when the island nearly doubles in size. The beach was opening itself up for us to explore. Large rocks were starting to expose themselves. And then we found the caves, which offered a whole new world to discover...
