...High Season in the Canadian Rockies comes swiftly after the final snow fall. Just as trees begin to bud out and the ground begins to thaw, local and international tourists alike make their way to the picturesque Banff Townsite. The shift from ski and snowboard boots to sandals and sunscreen marks the beginning of the busy season, where Main Street is bustling, the aromas of popcorn and waffle cones fill the air, and patios begin to pop up along the well-trafficked sidewalk. For those of us who work in the industry, the High Season is anxiously awaited, the days are long and sometimes exhausting. But we never waste a day off. Those too are filled with adventures, river dips, and late nights spent with friends around under the inky sky and twinkling stars in our camp chairs…..
